LG KF600 - Stylish phone with Interactive Touch Screen
The LG KF600 is a stylish mobile phone that features a unique interactive touch screen (InteractPad) and kick-slider design. This handset was the winner of the 2008 iF Product Design Award.
The InteractPad features context specific virtual keys that change to match the current task. The intention of this design is to provide a simple way to navigate through the numerous menus and features that are available on modern mobile phones. The LG KF600's InteractPad helps the user out by illuminating the menu keys that are required for the task at hand. The virtual keys have been designed to be larger and better spaced than physical keys.
Another nice feature of the InteractPad touch screen is multi-sensorial feedback that provides the user with audio, visual and tactile (haptic) cues. The phone provides a sense of reality when the virtual buttons are pressed by making them larger, vibrating slightly and making a clicking sound. This feature is also designed to improve user interface accuracy and make the phone more comfortable.
The LG KF600 provides eight dynamic graphic user interface themes to give the phone a character that matches its owner's personality. When the user chooses a new theme, it will be reflected in the layout of each applications menus and icons as well the wallpaper.
A range of multimedia features are also provided that include a 3 megapixel camera, MP3 player, video recording, FM radio and Bluetooth. Games are also included that are compatible with the touch screen.
This LG KF600 features a sleek glossy finish that is available in pastel pink, shiny pink, wine red and titan.
